About the PYLN
The Pennsylvania Youth Leadership Network (PYLN) is a student geared network, with the purpose and mission of developing leadership and volunteering skills and qualities in youth. With an original goal of engaging youth with disabilities, the PYLN is now dedicated to empowering and inspiring all youth to build their leadership skills and abilities, make a difference for themselves, and for their community.
About the PACCT Affiliate
The PA Council on Cyber Transition (PACCT) Affiliate, is comprised of multiple cyber schools, connecting them all through an online environment. Here at the PACCT PYLN, we have a key vision in mind: Develop leadership skills in our cyber charter school youth, who have a passion for making a difference in their communities, through virtual, and face to face service projects.
This website is one project of the PACCT Affiliate, and is designed, maintained, and updated by its students.
The PACCT Affiliate currently has two committees: A Service Project Committee, and a Mission Project Committee.
-The Service Project advocates and promotes school choice, and cyber education.
-The Mission Project advocates for, and promotes, disability rights.
Both committees accomplish their goals through collecting student opinions, researching current state and national positions, finding statistics, and studying the real world impact of spreading awareness and change, as well as coming together to create solutions.
